  • MPH student Mr. Subharanjan Jena documents a film called ‘Stone Boulders’ which talks about the lives of vulnerable quarry workers that includes women and children who manually break stones with handheld hammers in India.   • MPH Student, Dr. Parimala Mohanty, awarded for her essay “hearing aid” being selected as the winner in the category of essays from trainees in LMIC where English is not the primary language. She was invited to read her essay in the 9th Annual CUGH Global Health Conference, New York City, NY.   • MPH Student, Dr. Jagannath Panda presented a paper titled “Hard-core smoking among adults in 28 countries: A gender-stratified analysis from GATS”, at the Asia Pacific Organization for Cancer Control (APOCP) held at Jeju Iseland, South Korea, April 19-20, 2018. . This poster received the YIA (Young Investigator Award) Excellence Award from the conference committee.
