Students of KSPH participated and presented research papers in the 13 th South East Asia Regional Meeting of the International Epidemiological Association and International Conference on Public Health and Sustainable Development held at Bali, Indonesia during 2 nd – 5 th September, 2018. Dr. Parimala Mohanty (MPH) presented a paper titled “Rural – Urban and interstate disparity in Infant Mortality Rate (IMR) in India”. Mr. Subharanjan Jena (MPH) presented a paper titled “Disparity in Access to Generic Drugs in India”. Ms. Nancy Satpathy (MPH) presented a paper titled “Food Security and Malnutrition in India: A Review”. Mr. Mahamaya Mahadev Pal (MPH) presented a paper titled “Enhancing Evidence- based Health Policy for SDGs Achievement”. Mr. Ajit Kumar Singh (MHA) presented a paper titled “Digit Bias in Self reporting of Cigarette per Day (CPD) Frequency: Evidence from Global Adult Tobacco Survey in 28 countries”. Ms. Rashmi Rekha Behera (MHA) presented a paper titled “Saving Earth from air pollution: a proposal of fix functional engine capacity of light motor vehicles”.
