Dr Sahoo is presently working as a Scientist D, Health Technology Assessment India (HTAIn), Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), Dept. of Health Research, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Govt. of India. He did his Ph.D. in Medical Sciences from Karolinska Institutet, Sweden. He is trained in qualitative, quantitative, and mixed-method research. He has worked in the field of socio-behavioral health, with a focus on healthcare equity, evidence-based policy and practice. His current work focuses on the gender dimension of health among vulnerable and special populations. He is the Bernard Lown Scholars in Cardiovascular Health Program, Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, Boston, USA. He has more than 100 research publications in international journals.

Dr. Rabi Narayan Subudhi

Prof. Subudhi is a Senior Professor of Management with a total teaching experience of over 38 years. He is a popular teacher of Applied Statistics, QT and Research Methodology, among his students. After completing Masters & M. Phil. degree in Statistics, he completed his Ph.D. (in Management), with Senior Research Fellowship (SRF) from CSIR, Govt. of India. He is also an alumnus of IIM Ahmedabad, where he completed FDPM in 2001. He had his professional training on computer application at IIT Kharagpur and TTTI Chandigarh, India (sponsored by Govt. of India). After Serving Berhampur University Odisha for 20 years, he joined VIT University as a professor in 2006, and then came back again to Odisha in 2007 to join KIIT University as Professor of Management and program chairperson (PGP-Chair). He has successfully performed academic responsibilities, like Member, BoS, SLRC, Academic Council of University and as Chairperson of MBA Program of KIIT University. After teaching MBA programs for over 38 years, he has taken retirement in 2024. He is now a visiting professor to some leading institutes like KIIT, CUTM, NLU. As the President of Operational Research Society of India (ORSI) Bhubaneswar chapter, Odisha, he was instrumental in reviving the chapter and making it the best chapter in India. He was the Chief Editor of peer-reviewed, research journal Parikalpana of KIIT University,for last 12 years. He has also edited an International Journal (JHSSR) as Guest Editor for special issue. He has published 17 books and over 90 research papers in reputed journals and conference proceedings. He has presented research papers in over 75 conferences (including 20 International conferences, in countries like USA, UK, Australia, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Maldives and India). Addressed as invited speaker/ resource person for over 40 UGC/ AICTE/ ICAR/ CSIR sponsored FDPs/ Workshops. He had chaired a session for International Sociology Association (ISA), at University of Leicester UK on ‘Research Methods in Social Sciences’. Some of his books have been published by reputed publishers like Springer and Emerald Inc.
