The KIIT Academic Empowerment Programme (K-AEP) 2025, organized by the KIIT School of Public Health, was successfully conducted from June 23-25, 2025. The programme aimed to enhance the teaching, research, and professional skills of faculty members.

The FDP schedule was divided into three days, with multiple sessions each day. The sessions covered various topics, including: Technical talks on the use of AI and online tools for scientific writing and the use of referencing software for scientific writing, identification of mental health issues, substance use issues, and MOOC development. Technical talks on the use of Google Docs and Spreadsheets, technology in teaching, effective mentoring and its documentation, brainstorming on curriculum, assessments, and finalization of course plans for Autumn 2025.

The FDP featured experts from various fields, including, Dr. Hemalata Jena, Dr. Jessy Joseph, Dr. Priyanka Mishra, and Dr. Shikta Singh. The sessions were coordinated by Prof. Himanshu pradhan, Prof. Purnima Bhoi, Prof. Deepanjali Behera, Prof. Sneha Pattnaik, and Ms. Itishree Mohanty.

The FDP was a resounding success, with participants benefiting from the expert sessions and interactive discussions. The programme has equipped faculty members with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to excel in their roles. We look forward to building on this momentum and exploring future initiatives to support faculty growth and excellence.
