On September 26th, the 2nd year students of the KIIT School of Public Health (KSPH) organized a welcome event at the Campus-5 Auditorium for the newly admitted batch of MPH and MHA students (2024-2026 batch). The event was attended by esteemed guests, including Prof. (Dr.) Saranjit Singh, Vice-Chancellor of KIIT-DU, Prof. Deepak Kumar Behera, Vice-Chancellor of KISS-DU, as well as faculty members from KSOM, KIDS, and KINS.

The event commenced with a welcome note by Prof. (Dr.) Bhuputra Panda, Director, KSPH, who provided an overview of the school’s accomplishments in the recent past and discussed the ongoing projects, the status of Ph.D. program, and the opportunities for the master’s degree students. Prof. Behera extended his congratulations to the newly arrived students and the second-year students for their efforts in organizing the welcome event. Prof. Singh highlighted the extensive opportunities available within the fields of public health and hospital management, emphasizing upon the importance of integrating technological advancements into these areas. He commended the evident growth of the school and conveyed his best wishes to students and faculty members.

Following the inaugural session, a variety of cultural performances, including music, dance, skits, and games, showcased the diverse talents of KSPH students. Senior students participated in selecting Mr. and Ms. Fresher; Mr. and Ms. Versatile and Ms. Actress (monologue) during the event. The atmosphere was filled with cheerful activities, joy and enthusiasm. The day concluded with a formal vote of thanks by the organizing batch.
